Five of the community cases are contacts of earlier-confirmed cases and are already on quarantine when they were detected.
Epidemiological investigations are ongoing for the remaining cases.
There is also 1 imported case reported today who has been on Stay-Home-Notice since arriving in Singapore.

According to a media statement from Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS), a COVID-19 confirmed case has been to a mosque in Bedok North Ave 1, Masjid Al-Ansar, for evening prayers 8 times between 26 June and 2 July.
Because the mosque has processes to track their visitors, they managed to have a clear record of when the person was in the mosque during that period.
These are the periods:
- 26 June: 8.43pm to 8.59pm
- 27 June: 7.25pm to 7.39pm, and 8.36pm to 8.54pm
- 28 June: 7.21pm to 7.38pm, and 8.40pm to 8.58pm
- 30 June: 7.21pm to 7.35pm
- 1 July: 8.32pm to 8.55pm
- 2 July: 8.34pm to 8.51pm

MOH has confirmed that other worshippers are at low risk of being infected.
Nevertheless, MUIS advises members of the public who have been to Masjid Al-Ansar at these specified times to monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit. They should seek treatment if they do not feel well
As a precautionary measure, the mosque was closed from the evening of 7 July as well as on 8 July to allow for comprehensive cleaning and disinfection.
It resumed prayer services today (9 July 2020), and Friday prayer will be carried out as planned tomorrow (10 July 2020).
Since 26 June, congregational and other worship services can resume with up to 50 people (exclude workers) at a time with certain restrictions.
