Yesterday was a good day as it was the first time we had no community cases since 25 April. However, the number of unlinked cases in the community has increased from 1 case in the week before to 9 cases in the past week.
This shows that we should not let our masks down just because the cases in Singapore are declining.
As of 12pm today (11 Jul), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 8 new cases of COVID-19 infection.
The sole community infection is currently unlinked. The remaining 7 are imported cases.
This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 62,692.
Based on yesterday’s number, the number of new cases in the community has decreased from 37 cases in the week before to 17 cases in the past week. The number of unlinked cases in the community has increased from 1 case in the week before to 9 cases in the past week.
The 7-day moving average number of all linked community cases and all unlinked community cases are 1.1 and 1.3 respectively.
