The new normal is now three-digit community cases and one-digit imported cases.
As of 12pm today (23 Jul), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 133 new cases of COVID-19 infection.
130 of them are community cases.
Of the 130 locally-transmitted cases, 29 are currently unlinked. 6 cases belong to the KTV cluster, while 78 are linked to the Jurong Fishery Port cluster.
This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 63,924.
Based on yesterday’s number, the number of new cases in the community has increased from 127 cases in the week before to 883 cases in the past week. The number of unlinked cases in the community has also increased from 16 cases in the week before to 105 cases in the past week.
The 7-day moving average number of all linked community cases and all unlinked community cases are 111.4 and 14.7 respectively.
Boon Lay Place Food Market to Close for 2 Weeks As 7 New COVID-19 Cases Detected There
Boon Lay Place Market and Food Village will be closed to the public from today (23 July) till 6 Aug, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said.
This comes after the discovery of 7 infections among workers or visitors of the market.
According to MOH, the virus likely spread to the market by fishmongers who visited Jurong Fishery Port to collect their stocks before selling them at the markets and food centres.
The closure will enable the authorities to carry out deep cleaning, as well as break the chain of transmission.

415 Cases in Hospitals; 6,911,740 COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Administered
415 cases are currently warded in hospital. Most are well and under observation. There are currently 7 cases of serious illness requiring oxygen supplementation, and 1 in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU). None amongst these 8 cases is fully vaccinated.
There are currently 28 active clusters, ranging between 3 and 560 infections.
As of 21 July 2021, we have administered a total of 6,911,740 doses of COVID-19 vaccines under the national vaccination programme. The total number of doses administered was 6,911,740, covering 4,184,559 individuals. 2,847,397 individuals have completed the full vaccination regimen, consisting of 120,216 recovered persons who received at least one dose and 2,727,181 who received their second dose.
In addition, 74,052 doses of Sinovac vaccines were administered as of 21 Jul 2021, covering 64,982 individuals.
