Lest you’ve not noticed, the number of unlinked community cases has been rising.
As of 12pm today (25 Jul), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 125 new cases of COVID-19 infection.
117 of them are community cases.
Of the 117 locally-transmitted cases, 38 are currently unlinked. 5 cases belong to the KTV cluster, while 46 are linked to the Jurong Fishery Port cluster.
This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 64,179.
Based on yesterday’s number, the number of new cases in the community has increased from 238 cases in the week before to 1,027 cases in the past week. The number of unlinked cases in the community has also increased from 17 cases in the week before to 120 cases in the past week.
The 7-day moving average number of all linked community cases and all unlinked community cases are 129.6 and 17.1 respectively.
Residents & Workers in HDB Blocks in AMK & Clementi to Go through Compulsory COVID-19 Tests
Currently, eight cases have been detected in four households at block 456 AMK Avenue 10 while 12 cases have been detected in four households at block 340 Clementi Avenue 5.
These cases have all been linked to the Jurong Fishery Port cluster.
To quickly crackdown on the local transmission, MOH is conducting mandatory COVID-19 testing for all residents, as well as owners and staff of commercial units at the same block, in these two locations.
A pavilion will be set up at Block 460A AMK Avenue 10 from 25 July to 26 July 2021 between 9:00am and 4:00pm to conduct the testing.
Similarly, compulsory testing will be carried out at the void deck of 340 Clementi Avenue 5 on 25 July 2021 between 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Note that testing is optional for those who have tested negative for COVID-19 from 20 July onwards.
Residents are also advised to monitor their health and to seek treatment immediately if they feel unwell.
Voluntary testing for visitors and anybody who has been in contact with the residents of these locations between 9 July and 23 July 2021 is also available.

490 Cases in Hospitals; 7,060,589 COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Administered
490 cases are currently warded in hospital. Most are well and under observation. There are currently 12 cases of serious illness requiring oxygen supplementation, and 1 in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU). None amongst these 13 cases is fully vaccinated. 9 seniors above 60 years, who are completely unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, have fallen very ill.
In total, there are currently 26 active clusters, ranging between 3 and 741 infections.
As of 23 July 2021, we have administered a total of 7,060,589, doses of COVID-19 vaccines under the national vaccination programme. The total number of doses administered was 7,060,589, covering 4,217,627 individuals. 2,963,275 individuals have completed the full vaccination regimen, consisting of 120,313 recovered persons who received at least one dose and 2,842,962 who received their second dose.
In addition, 81,227 doses of Sinovac vaccines were administered as of 23 July 2021, covering 67,373 individuals.
