I‘ve got great news for Daryl Aiden fans out there.
Singapore’s most prolific and infamous photographer is now back on Instagram. And he seemed to have learnt his lesson very well.

If you didn’t know what happened to Daryl Aiden, here’s the lowdown on what he did.
He was caught photoshopping and using stock images to create his beautiful photos on Instagram.
That’s a no-no in many people’s eyes, given how he advertised himself as a photographer. Add in the fact that his clientele consists of big names like Sony, Uniqlo and Topman:
And you get why he’s getting slammed like nobody’s business in Singapore. The higher you are, the harder you fall, after all.
He tried to rescue his reputation to no avail, especially when he’s getting kicked left, right up and down by several well-known people like Xiaxue.
So in the end, he deleted all his beautiful images on his Instagram account, leaving a single apologetic-ish post on his 101k followers’ account.
And everyone in Singapore thought that’s it for him.
But Hey, He’s Back At It Again
My mom and colleagues always told me that I’ll never be a successful artist. Because art is about symbolism.
And I’m as symbolic as the puppy next door, always sniffing at its own butt. If you’ve ever wanted to read the most unimaginative, dry article on Goody Feed, I’m your man.
But Daryl Aiden Yow, no matter whether he photographed or photoshopped, is undeniably an artist.
Which is why, for his first post, he burnt all his old images.
Like I said, artist.
If that’s a post to tell the whole world he’s turned over a new leaf, and how he has repented, it definitely worked better than his apology post.
After all, not only did he upload that image, he had also filmed part of the process and uploaded them as well.
Proof that he didn’t photoshop this image.
And He’s Proven That Even Without The Amazing Photoshop, His Photos Are Still, Well, Amazing
His latest post on 16 Sep looked like something that belongs to the Trick Eye Museum. But it’s not.
And just like his first post, he uploaded Behind The Scene (BTS) shots of that shoot as well.
And His Fans Appreciate His Comeback
Daryl Aiden’s photos looked as otherworldly as ever. And honestly, if he hasn’t included the BTS shots (behind the scene lah, not the Korean boyband lah), people are going to think he’s back at it again.
Like one of his fans said:
Others just love how the BTS brings home his creativity
And people are just glad he’s back.

Turning From An Influencer Into A Role Model
Like it or hate it, you got to give kudos to him. Daryl Aiden Yow has turned himself from an influencer into a role model.
It’s difficult enough for normal people to make a comeback. Like losing your company a million-dollar deal. Or landing yourself into a gambling debt.
(Yes, Logan Paul has done it, but that’s Logan Paul leh. He can even come back from the dead.)
But for people who were discovered lying to hundreds of thousands of people? People won’t blame you for disappearing into anonymity.
After all, online netizens’ hate can be pretty hard to tahan.
But Daryl Aiden did.
So if you’ve ever screwed up so badly you want to just stay home and cry into your blanket, just look at the Daryl Aiden Yow Saga.
If Yow can do it, so can You. #SometimesBeingCheesyWorks
