Fellow Students Defend Her Character

Following these accusations, a classmate named Tian spoke to Chinese media, explaining that Dai is a student at the Special Education Institute and is deaf and mute.

Tian expressed disappointment about the skepticism, saying, “She belongs to a special group, and it was really difficult for her to work hard and get into the art academy. Students from the school’s Special Education Institute are all good people.”
