As they say here, O$P$.
Owing people money is a very, very unpleasant feeling. But for some people, they don’t feel a thing. And of course, some people won’t sit back and let them take their time to return the money they owe.
Publicly Shamed
In a video posted on Facebook, a man, presumably the debt collector, is seen walking along a corridor. He is holding something in his hand.
When he arrives at the door of his victim, I mean, debtor, he immediately kneels down and starts singing.
Truly a scare tactic.
After a few seconds, a lady peeks out from behind a wall to see what’s happening. I wonder how she felt when she saw him there. Must be awkward.
The debt collector doesn’t stop, though. In fact, his singing never stops. He just continues to sing.
Shortly after, a man is seen walking past to another room within the office. He then paces around to another room holding his phone.
When he finally pays attention and looks at the debt collector, the debt collector starts to beg. Loudly.
In a dramatic few seconds, the debt collector is seen frantically putting his two hands together and begging the man inside. The man then calls his colleague to come.
His colleague arrives and stands in front of the glass door, before opening it slightly to pass a few pieces of paper to the debt collector.
The cameraman, who I assume is the debt collector’s accomplice, takes the papers from him. He then continues to beg and sing loudly. The same colleague just continues to record the debt collector on her phone.
Why not just pay him so he can go?
Very Creative
Instead of shaming the debt collector for going to such an extent, many people praised him for his creativity. I don’t disagree, though. This is truly bringing creativity to another level. Some said that his ways are both annoying and funny.
Some others said that he’s crazy for doing so, and he should be more professional.
But then, if he’s a professional debt collector, then they’ll say he’s barbaric.
There are always two sides to the story.
Some pitied the employees in the company for having to deal with it.

That’s just a snippet of it, though.
The Saga Continues
In a video uploaded on Youtube, the whole story unfolds there.
This time, they actually managed to enter the company. There, the debt collector speaks to one of the employees. Apparently, the debt collector is looking for the boss of the company.
At one point in the video, the debt collector says in Chinese that if they don’t pay, they can’t work anymore.
The situation is extremely tense, and the video shows a few employees standing around.
A few minutes later in the video, the debt collector threatens them in Chinese to call the police and tell the police to tell him that he can’t collect the money. The video then ends before the situation is settled.
The End…?
So we’ll never know if the company got away with it, or the debt collector left with the debt he needed to collect.
By the way, this guy isn’t an ah long, but he’s actually a legal debt collector that can go to such lengths to get money back.
But either way, what a day it must have been for those employees.
