Okay, who doesn’t love sushi? It’s suuuu good and delicious. Well, Don Don Donki seems to know this too because they are getting in on the sushi trend and bringing a sushi bar to their new outlet!
Their new outlet will be opening on 29 November in Jcube and not only will they be opening a sushi bar, they will also be opening a live teppanyaki booth.

7 Times The Charm
For Don Don Donki fans, you might already know that this is the chains’s seventh store here in Singapore and well, we cannot be more excited for it.
8 Days reported that the store will be replacing what used to be a Kopitiam and Fairprice Finest in Jcube’s basement 1.
What To Expect
We don’t want to get you too excited but a Don Don Donki Spokesperson has already announced that although the menu is still a work in progress, there is definitely going to be a large array of sushi, freshly sliced sashimi and beer to pair with your meal at this new outlet.
As for the Teppanyaki station, if it is anything similar to the one at Don Don Donki’s Clarke Quay outlet, it will look something like this.
360 Seater Food Court
When you head to Jcube for Don Don Donki you don’t need to worry about having no seats or having to chope one before you buy your food because this outlet’s food court has 360 seats ready to cater for large crowds.
The food court will have eight stalls and four of which have never been seen in Singapore before.
- Gindaco (Takoyaki Balls)
- Hotto Motto (Bento and Set Meals)
- Tsukiji Unagi Daioh (Sliced Unagi)
- Arizuki Express (Hotpot)
While we are excited to try them all, we’re probably looking forward the most to Hotto Motto which is super popular in Japan, especially since it is available in 42 out of 47 of the Japan outlets.
It offers bento with options such as karaage chicken, pork and chicken katsu, teriyaki salmon, to list a few.
P.S. Gindaco might seem familiar because it used to be available at the Raffles Place and ION but has since shut down.
When?
This new outlet looks good right? So, Don Don Don’t forget the date, 29 November!
The store usually opens from 8am to 12am and the food court will open from 10am to 10pm. But remember, the opening hour on 29 November is at 10am!
