If you’re an Ip Man fan, then you probably already know about Donnie Yen being in Singapore yesterday.
If you somehow missed it on your calendar, Donnie Yen is in S’pore for his promo tour of Ip Man 4: The Finale on 9 to 10 December 2019.
And that means, unless you’re a time traveller, there’s still an opportunity to meet him, but details for that at the end.
Just look at the crowd on 9 December, that’s 5,000 fans right there:
Maybe you didn’t get to see Donnie Yen in real life because of other commitments, or you got squeezed out of the crowd. But don’t get disappointed since we’ve got some Instagram diving to do.
Unveiling The Ip Man Pavillion
The Pavilion will contain sets from the previous movies like Ip Man’s living room; the wooden dummy, family portraits, and the big round table where they sparred at.
Other than that, the Pavilion also featured 3D trick-eye illusions. It will be on display from 9 December 2019 to 6 January 2020, so even if you missed Donnie Yen yesterday, you can still visit it later.

But who cares about some movie sets when Ip Man himself (okay fine, the actor) is right in Singapore right??

Another Instagram user captured some of the questions he was asked on stage.
He was asked which of the Ip Man movies were his favourite, to which he declined to answer and said they all had their exciting parts.
When asked about his plans for other movies, Ip Man, I mean, Donnie Yen mentioned that he has other upcoming movies coming up.

He ate a bowl of Laksa while he was in S’pore, but that’s actually his second favourite S’porean food and not the favourite. As he revealed, his favourite was actually durian.

On 10 December 2019—that’s right, that’s today—Donnie Yen will attend the gala premiere of Ip Man 4: The Finale at Shaw Theatre Lido from 8.30 pm onwards.
