Typically, we all have our reasons for not wanting to bring umbrellas out when we leave the house. Some guys might find it not “manly” enough, while others just find it troublesome to bring a bag along when they go out, guys especially.
And really, who will want to hold an umbrella in their hand while they’re on the train? How will they have two hands to play with their mobile phones then, right?
If you sound like the person I’ve described above, well, it might be a good idea to just bring an umbrella out, no matter whether you think it’s troublesome or it’s not masculine enough. Because do you know what’s worse than being troubled? Having to work or study in wet clothes, that’s what.
The Meteorological Service of Singapore (MSS) has announced on June 16 (Thursday) that you can expect short, thundery showers in five to seven days on the second part of June during the mornings and afternoons, and southwest monsoon conditions that took place in the first half of June are expected to persist.
MSS have added that maximum temperatures are expected to remain between 32 and 33 degrees Celsius, and hit 34 degrees Celsius for a couple of days.
So remember, bring an umbrella out. You’ll thank us for it later.
