By the people behind Kokomama and I’m KIM BBQ Restaurant, GOROGORO Steamboat & Korean Buffet Restaurant is one of the most value-for-money Korean steamboat buffets which you can find in town. Best part? It is conveniently located at Orchard @ Emerald so you can easily get there at the snap of your fingers!

GOROGORO Steamboat & Korean Buffet Restaurant provides a cozy environment for light-hearted and gleeful dining experiences without having to burn a hole in your pockets! The name was derived from the “Goro Goro” sound that your stomachs make when it is hungry, and also from the sounds of their delectable soup boiling!

Here are the prices of the steamboat buffet:

At the buffet, you can choose from a plethora of Korean cooked dishes, steamboat ingredients, drinks, and fruits! The Korean restaurant is also extremely spacious, so you can enjoy your steamboat buffet with a large group of friends.

Here are some of the selection of food which you can choose from!

GOROGORO Steamboat & Korean Buffet Restaurant caters to different taste buds with six choices of broth to choose from – Ginseng Chicken, Beauty Collagen, Mala, Tomyum, Tomato, and Vegetarian! Their broths are boiled for at least 24 hours, 7 days a week so as to extract the very last taste and goodness from their stocks and spices!

We opted for the Tomyam, Vegetarian, and Ginseng – my favorite one being the Vegetarian soup base which was hearty and not too cloying. For those who are looking at having something spicy to tickle your taste buds, you can also opt for the Mala soup base – though not for the faint-hearted. Diners can also curate their sauces and condiments from the counter.

I was also a major fan of the crispy and succulent chicken wings – I had like 4 that day?! I usually prefer Chicken drumsticks to chicken wings because the latter are often scrawny and dry, but the chicken wings at GOROGORO really sealed the deal for me.
