In a blink of an eye, we’re now entering September in 2016 and if you didn’t already know, decorations and sales of the well-loved Lotus-filled mooncakes are on sale for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival!

Traditions from the past depicted night gatherings where friends and families would sit under the moonlight, chatting over cups of tea and slices of mooncakes.

In case you didn’t know, the Mid-Autumn Festival lands on the 15th day of the Chinese calendar every year and in 2016, the day happens to be September 15.
