Save up during the month of August for Uber’s $5 rides are back again! Ride via UberPOOL to your destinations and pay lesser for the same distance.
From 5 August to 26 August for every Friday, 7am to 7pm, you’ll now be able to score rides from Jurong to Raffles, Punggol to Sentosa and Bedok to Changi Business Park for just $5.
Here’s how you can score your affordable ride:

- Download the Uber app.
- Enter the promo code POOLAUG5 (the promotion code may change weekly so do keep a look out!) before setting your location for pickup and entering your destination in the uberX option.
- Click on ‘Set a pickup destination’ before tapping the left side for uberPOOL
- Choose your number of seats and click to request for a shared car. This will allow you to be matched with other passengers who are riding the same way as you.
- When you arrive at your destination, you’ll be charged a maximum of $5.
To get a promotion code for Uber, you’ll have to tap on the ‘My Account’ button on the top left side of your Uber app. Click on the ‘Promotion’ button and enter your promotion code.
First-time users can also choose to apply the promo code UBEROFFERSG to enjoy $10 off for your first ride. This code will not be valid for UberTAXI.
