Lest you’ve been living under a cave, you would surely have heard of McDonald’s all-new multi-purpose app, a piece of technology so powerful, so diverse…
That it’s almost like you have a personal McDonald’s robot with you. Almost.
Apart from calculating your fast food macros calories for you, it also serves as a delivery app, which renders the old McDelivery application all but unnecessary. And the best part of it all?
It’s like your personal ‘Don’t say Bojio’ guide. McDonald’s edition.
Brb, just gonna download the app real quick.
Don’t Say Bojio: $1 Filet-O-Fish in McDelivery New App
To celebrate the app’s launch in Singapore, the fast-food chain is offering a limited-period $1 Filet-O-Fish promo code, that’s redeemable anytime within the daily 12pm-4am window with any purchase.
The welcome deal can only be used once, and you gotta redeem it within 30 days after you’ve downloaded the app.
To access those flirtatious deals, tap on the ‘Deals’ tab in the app, pinpoint the deal you would like to redeem and click ‘Activate’. You’ll then have three minutes to scan the QR code provided to you in-app for your order, before it’s gone.
Gone.
*Insert gone gif*
If you’re fearful of losing your $1 deal, however, you can watch a video tutorial here before proceeding.
You can redeem the promo code at McDonald’s dine-in self-order kiosks (each of them comes equipped with a QR code scanner), or via their regular cashier counters. Those who are going through the Drive-Thru, however, will need to read the unique serial number in your promo code out loud to the McDonald’s staff while ordering.
The promo codes are not available through McDelivery, GrabFood or at McDonald’s institution outlets.
In total, the list of promo codes is generally extensive.
Some, however, require certain criteria to be met before they can be activated.
Other cool deets
As mentioned above, you’ll be able to track your total caloric damage using the app.
You can also see macros for the meal in question, including total fat, carbohydrates and sodium.
Whether you’ll want to know, however, is entirely up to you.
Also, to celebrate the app’s launch, McDonald’s will be parking a McDonald’s App Happiness Truck outside Ocean Financial Center (from Aug 5-7) and Orchard Cineleisure mall (from Aug 9-10), where the public can indulge in games on gaming consoles. And heed this:
The top three highest-scoring players of each day will win exclusive McDonald’s merchandise!
Always fancied yourself as a top gamer? This is it, my friend.
And so… what’re you waiting for?
Time waits for no one…
And that $1 Filet-o-Fish deal definitely waits for no one.
So download the new app already…
Because it’s time to play the M game. 🙂
You can download the app here.
