Do you sing? Do you eat?

Have you wanted to do both at the same time?

Well, here’s some advice, don’t; you’ll choke and die.

But from now until 30 April 2019, you can do them one after another at Marina Square with Manekineko and Seoul Garden!

Manekineko and Seoul Garden

Here’s some information for those who need it:

The Japanese karaoke chain, Manekineko, is popular for a reasonably priced singing experience in its vibrant rooms, along with the perks of free-flow of drinks and snacks at the self-service bar.

Seoul Garden, on the other hand, is a Halal-certified Korean brand offering buffet KBBQs on their 2-in-1 proprietary smokeless grill system.

So you combine these 2 foreign brands and you get this deal:

That’s a 2-hour long all-you-can-sing session followed by a 100-minute all-you-can-eat buffet for just $38 on weekdays and $43 on weekends.

And get this. It’s nett pricing.

Isn’t this the combination you didn’t know you wanted?

Here are some Details

Worth it?

Karaoke Manekineko has many different outlets, and across different outlets, the rates differ.

The Marina Square outlet, however, has these rates:

Seoul Garden, on the other hand, is priced like this:

That’s a ton of information to take in at once, but here’s the bottom line- you can save a maximum of $28.80 if you’re an adult belting out your tunes/ stuffing your face on a Saturday night.

But, don’t bother with this deal if you’re a student (above 12) going out on a weekday for the lunch buffet and clocking your 2 hours on the microphone before 6 pm, that will only cost you $32.70.

Alternatives for cheapskates

It’s quite a deal, if you’re old enough and going on the right day/time, but maybe you’re not, but still want the pleasure of eating and singing.

Did you know Karaoke Manekineko has their own buffet?

It’s only available at Ganso Manekineko at Orchard Cineleisure. But look at the prices, it’s potentially cheaper if you go for the lunch buffet (though the Ganso buffet at night is no different):

My colleague who has been to the buffet has this to say:

“Lots of food and lots of people. It’s really quite a hassle to bring the food all the way to your room. If your room is far, best of luck: you’ll be spending more time walking than singing / eating.

“But the food’s pretty good and fresh. There’s an array of fresh seafood too, so you’re really getting your buck’s worth.”

The main difference between this and our Seoul Garden Karaoke package experience though (other than the type of food you get probably) is you get 3 hours in total for both your food and songs, which brings us back to the eating and choking point.

And if you’re an even bigger cheapskate, did you notice that we brought up the free flow of drinks and snacks you get with any session?

I mean for a whopping extra fee of $0 you get all-you-can-eat soft drinks, hot beverages, tidbits and ice cream.
