Still unsure how to go about keying in the code? All you need to do is download the GrabTaxi app from the apple App Store or for androids, Google Play, and register your account. Choose Standard Taxi and enter the locations to pick you up from and to drop you off. Select your payment method, key in the code CNY5 in the promo code and there you go! After taking your initial standard ride, your now second ride is $5 less yet still quick and comfortable.
Here’re the terms and conditions:
- User must complete one non-promo standard taxi ride to be eligible for this promo.
- Promo code can only be applied on the 2nd standard taxi ride within the same day by 11.59pm.
- Limited to one redemption per user per day from 30th January to 3rd February 2017.
- Not applicable for advance booking.
- Standard taxi booking fee and surcharges apply.

- Users must download the latest version of the Grab mobile application in order to utilise the promo code.
- If the user cancels a ride booked with the promo code, it will be considered as a successful redemption.
