$5 OFF UberX and UberPOOL Rides

From now to 4 June 2017 (12am – 12am), you can get $5 OFF your uberX and uberPOOL rides when you apply these promo codes.

Yes. These.

Just like how restaurants and retail shops are offering 1-for-1 deals, Uber is following in their footsteps and giving you TWO promo codes instead.

Giving you 24-hour access to them. Awesome? Hell, yeah!

Here’s what you got to do to enjoy the promo

Select Payment from app menu > Tap Add Promo Code > Enter Promo Code > Select Apply

Apply the promo code ‘FIVEOFF3’ in your Uber account and you’ll be eligible for $5 OFF uberX and uberPOOL rides from 6 am to 12 mn (1-4 Jun). 

Then, apply the promo code ‘NIGHTRIDES’ in your Uber account and you’re eligible for $5 OFF uberX and uberPOOL rides from 12 mn to 6 am (1-4 Jun).

Important: This Important Tip Could Help You Get the Promotions

So, while looking at the Facebook post by Uber, there are some who are unable to apply the two promo codes at the same time.

I’m not sure if Uber has successfully resolved the bug in their app, or if there’s even one; but here’s how I did it.

First, I applied went to the message tab on the app where Uber is showing the promo (FIVEOFF3) to its users.

I select the Add Promotion option and voila! The promo code is added to my account.

Then, I went to manually add the second promo code via the Add Promo Code option in the Payment tab, and it successfully took hold as well.

Not sure if it’ll always work but worth a try, yeah?
