Don’t Say Bojio: 5-Pc Chicken at $6.90 (U.P. $13.80) During Popeyes Day (9 June)

What’s your favourite day of the year?

For some, it’s Christmas cuz you don’t have to wait long before another public holiday comes about.

While for students? It’s probably Children’s Day because that’s the only day you will see your strict discipline master, Mr Manu dressed up as an orangutan on stage.

But for Popeyes’ fans okay, scratch that-for fried chicken lovers? Your Day is coming.

Because what I’m going to tell you have driven fried chicken lovers crazy for years.

Cheaper. Crispier. Chicken. For Cheap.

Notice I used the word cheap twice? That’s cuz this promo is worth it.

Just take a look.

Everybody knows Popeyes, right?

They’re known for their mashed potatoes and biscuits, but it’s no small feat to say that their chicken isn’t that far behind.

And for 9 June 2019 (one day only)? Their fried chicken’s going to overtake their bestselling items by a far margin.

Instead of the usual price of $13.90, you can get it at $6.90 instead for one day only.

P/S: That’s $1.38 per piece.

But it’s definitely not this.

Wait, There’s More

If you’ve been following Popeyes as closely as we’ve been, you’d know that Popeyes’ Day isn’t a new thing.

Nor is a 5-piece chicken for cheap the extent of their celebrations.

True to their usual form, they’re not just giving out cheap chickens. They’re giving out cheap chickens and even cheaper meals for the future.

For the early birds and night owls, or generally, anyone who wants to enjoy this deal, they’re giving away vouchers at specific timings on that day:

  • 40 x $40 vouchers will be given away at hourly intervals from 8-11 am.
  • 50 x $30 vouchers will be given away at 9.30 pm.

The only caveat (T&C)? You got to buy two boxes of the 5-piece chicken at the same time.

Consider it done.

Only Spicy Or Mild

Similar to other fast-food fried chicken places in Singapore, you’re only able to choose between spicy or mild chicken for this promo.

As for those who want to take this chance to try out their new Thai Pop chicken? You’ll have to shell out the full price for it.

Yes, it’s a weird combination (I mean, it’s Maggi Mee with curry on crispy fried chicken) but somehow, somehow it just works with a little help from Grab.

So don’t say bojio, eh? Time to make some dinner plans with your family on 9 June.

Maybe get your mom to cook some plain rice and fry up a vegetable while waiting for all your crispy chicken goodness to get home or something.
