Good Friday might’ve passed, but if AEON had its way, I’m pretty sure every day would be a public holiday.
I mean c’mon; they’re releasing a Great Friday Sale end May!
And everyone knows that Good Friday took place on like, 1 April.
But hey, no complaints here. 😉 Good Friday or Great Friday or Goody Friday, bring it on.
So what’s the deal?
From 25 – 27 May, AEON will be holding a Great Friday Sale, during which they will offer discounts, vouchers and specially-priced apparels!
If you’re not familiar with AEON because you’ve always gone to City Square, then read on because this might just change your life altogether #justsaying
AEON, the Place Singaporeans Should Be in This Weekend
Some Singaporeans swear by AEON (or to be exact, they’ll just call it Bukit Indah as it’s the place that many go) because of two reasons:
- It’s less crowded with more parking lots
- It’s closer to the second link (Jurong-ers like my colleague is a fan)
- There’s a direct bus
There are two AEONs that are close to Singapore, AEON Tebrau City and Aeon Bukit Indah. Here, take a look at Google’s answer.
Eh, wait, why is Goody Feed listed there as well? Having being fans of AEON, and now a client of AEON, would make us…AEON??
But here’re the facts: AEON Tebrau City is a mall usually for people going via the Causeway while AEON Bukit Indah is for people going via the second link.
Think of AEON as a department store housed in a shopping mall, much like some malls in Orchard. The only difference? Things are sold in ringgits, so well, you get the idea.
In fact, it’s so much like any big malls in Singapore that you’ll wonder if you’ve had your passport chopped #justsaying
If you’re driving, it shouldn’t take you more than one hour to reach there provided the traffic is good.
There are also buses from Singapore to the mall, but let’s see what’s on offer first.
Great Friday Sale
For starters, how about some good old electronics and bed accessories?
After all, you can go wrong with a lot of things (like your boyfriend) but it’s hard to go wrong with air fryers and bed sheet covers.
Next, how about some discounted clothes? Everyone loves clothes, from your mum to your weak-toothed grandpa, so this is one section that will no doubt draw the attention of everyone.
And how could we ever forget about our lovely ladies? Pamper yourselves with some beauty products, with discount tags all slapped into place!
Incidentally, it seems that the tenants have been roped in for this promotion too.
With the likes of Dunkin Donuts & HYPE in for the ride too, this is one discount train you won’t want to miss!
Now, remember: divide everything by three. That’s the magic number (and please arh, don’t bring chewing gums back despite the temptation).
What else is there?
First up, AEON has got sweet vouchers to reward spenders. And as all vouchers go, the more you spend the more you earn.

You won’t need to wait for the GST to be removed to get 6% off!
Talk about one sweet promotional campaign. They really got all the bases down, don’t they?
So what are you waiting for?
Mark down the dates 25 to 27 May, because it’s gonna be a blast.
Location: Any AEON store in Peninsular Malaysia
How to get to the nearest (and most popular) AEON
While there are two AEONs near Singapore, we suggest going to the Bukit Indah one because the food opposite the mall is lit.
To get there via public transport, simply take CW3 from Jurong East Interchange (via Causeway) or CW6 from Boon Lay Interchange (via Second Link).
It’ll cost SGD$4 to go there and RM5 to get back to Singapore.
Do note that you’ll have to alight at Bukit Indah – don’t gong gong think the bus will end at Bukit Indah as it’s ending at Larkin Terminal instead. Alight once you see AEON (or when you see a lot of Singaporeans smiling and alighting).
If you’re lucky, the journey might be faster than getting from Boon Lay to, say, Ang Mo Kio.
Happy shopping! 🙂
