Before BTS, this superstar actually caused a riot at McDonald’s outlets.
And while BTS needs to sing, dance and give fan-service to garner fans, this superstar didn’t have to do all that.
In fact, this superstar didn’t even have a mouth.
That’s right, the superstar I’m talking about is none other than…
Hello Kitty.
Guess what? Hello Kitty is about to appear in your life again, this time in the form of EZ-Link cards.
Two New Designs Released To Celebrate Hello Kitty’s 45th Year Anniversary
On 3 October 2019, EZ-Link uploaded this FB post.
They are celebrating Hello Kitty’s 45th anniversary in the best way possible: two new ez-link card designs.
On both designs, you’ll not only get Hello Kitty but her (his?) friends too!
Each card is available at $10 each with no load value.
But honestly, with SimplyGo, most of us don’t use EZ-Link cards anyway, right? We’re only in it for the cute designs.
They will be available at all GV cinemas so make sure you fast-hand-fast-leg, okay?
Protip: Know a friend who loves Hello Kitty and has a birthday coming up soon? This limited ed. gift might just be the perfect one for her, plus, it’s pretty cheaaaappp.
Just take note that each customer is limited to 5 pieces per transaction.
Not free to go down to the cinema any time soon? You can also purchase the cards online via the GV website.
Tons Of Other Merchandise Available
Not a fan of Hello Kitty? There are tons of other designs available including:
- Moomin
- Doraemon
- And Gudetama
You can find out more here.
Upcoming Card Design
Not interested in Hello Kitty, Doraemon or Gudetama? EZ-Link also uploaded another post, a teaser really, for another cute design coming up.
That’s right. Pusheen.
And if we follow their track record, chances are the design’s going to be super-cute too.
So make sure you keep a lookout on either EZ-Link Singapore’s Facebook page or Goody Feed.
You know we’re suckers for cute stuff anyway.
Plus, they do have contests from time to time where you can win really awesome stuff.
One bird, two stones, right?
You’re welcome~
