The IMconnected app
The IMconnected app uses voluntary crowdsourcing in order to improve the quality of experience for mobile broadband users. Constructed to run in the background of your mobile phone, with minimal battery and data usage, the app only derives mobile connection experience and information like the broadband speed, latency and coverage on mobile cellular networks such as 3G and 4G, as well as Wi-Fi networks.
This will help IMDA and your telcos to study mobile broadband performance, and determine how to improve your mobile experience.
