We all know the drill: EZ-Link isn’t just a company that provides a transport payment system.
They also charm us with charming EZ-Charms that would go out of stock within hours.
Just take a look at their Shopee mall shop:
You can bet that these charms were sold out within hours when they were launched.
And take a look at their LazMall shop:
Lots of EZ-Charms, but click on any of them and you’ll see this:
All out of stock.
And when they tried to sell those cuties in retail outlets like POPULAR Bookstores, customers would only be able to buy two at one go, but they still sold out fast.
So if EZ-Link finally decides to discontinue their service as a contactless smart card, I bet we all know what business they’re going to go into.
EZ-Link Has Often Announced Their Charms
EZ-Link has often announced their new EZ-Link charms in their Facebook Page—even if they didn’t, retailers would have contacted us and told us about EZ-Link’s latest charms.
In other words, we’re usually one of the first in Singapore to know about any new charms as one of us also regularly checks out their Facebook Page.
But this time, it’s different.
EZ-Link Teased New EZ-Charms Instead
Yesterday morning, EZ-Link Facebook Page posted this:
Lest you can’t read the words, here’s the description:
You’re in for a surprise at the River Hong Bao 2019! Visit our official EZ-Link booth to get your hands on exclusive ez-link cards, bundle deal specials and a never-seen-before EZ-Charm!
Wah, what’s this? Are they clickbaiting us to River Hong Bao?
With many of us on leave today, we were about to cancel one of my colleagues’ leave and force him to go check it out (because our boss is evil like that) until we see these in the comments section:
OMG. Right?
According to the comments, each of them would cost $24.90.
The booth is located opposite the floating platform as Booth 24 and 25.
Now, we’re not sure if they’ll be out of stock when you’re there…especially after this article is out.
But since our articles are in our app long before they’re shared in Facebook, you as a Goody Feed app user get to know about this first before anyone else.
So chiong for it, man.
If not, well, just spend a bit more and get it from Carousell.
But honestly speaking, River Hong Bao 2019 is pretty lit, so you might want to consider going there even if it’s out of stock. It’s open from now until 10 February 2019 (2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) at The Float @ Marina Bay.
