When it comes to KFC, there are two items they are undisputedly the champion of.

Fried chicken in whatever form.

Even before they’ve changed their fries from the previous (and lousier) version, their cheese fries (C.F) are already the best C.F ever in the fast food industry here.

The rest simply tastes like nachos cheese with fries while KFC’s has a delicious blend of mayonnaise and savoury cheese, mixed together with fragrant spring onion.

Well, if you agree with me, you’re going to love what I have to say next.

On 11 March 2019, KFC S’pore put up this particular post on their Facebook page.

They asked their followers to vote for what they’ll want to see happen more: a $1.95 mashed potato or a $1.95 cheese fries.

Thankfully, unlike what our fries-loving boss wants, netizens voted for the cheese fries. #Naturally

Even if you’re a fan of both items, cheese fries give a bigger discount.

So there we were, praying hard every day before every meal that cheese fries will turn out to be the ultimate winner.

And Our Wish Came True

For on 13 Mar 2019, 2 days after the first announcement, KFC Singapore uploaded this particular post on their Facebook page:

From now until 16 Apr, instead of the usual $4.20 for an order of cheese fries (ala carte), you can get your hands on it for just $1.95.

And the best part? It’s available for dine-in, takeaway and delivery.

For dine-in and takeaway, each customer is limited to 3 orders of Cheese Fries (3 x $1.95) per transaction.

Yes, kiss your dreams of swimming in a bathtub of cheese fries goodbye.

For delivery, you’re only allowed to order 1 A La Carte Cheese Fries per transaction.
