Unless you’re rich like my fat and ugly boss, chances are, you can’t survive without an EZ-Link card.
Other than our smartphone which is oxygen to us, poor folks like me see EZ-Link as water. And because it’s so dear to us, it’s no longer merely a card: it’s fashion.
Just like how iPhone is to my colleague.
Late last month, POPULAR Bookstores, which still sells books but seems more like gift shops now, started selling Chip ‘n’ Dale Tsum Tsum EZ-Charms for $26.90 without any value in it, and guess what?
Netizens commented incessantly that they were out of stock.
All within one or two days after its announcement.
Either Tsum Tsum is POPULAR, or Ez-Link is POPULAR. I’m inclined to go with the latter, but anyways.
Just yesterday, the EZ-Link Facebook Page posted this, and trust me when I say this: POPULAR Bookstore is going to get real popular this weekend.
Yah, it’s yet another Tsum Tsum EZ-Charms, and this time it’s Tigger and Eeyore (though there could be more)!
In the previous Tsum Tsum EZ-Charm mania, each customer can buy up to five of these cuties. This time round, it has been reduced to two.
As usual, it’ll cost $26.90 with no load value.
It’s also not available in all POPULAR Bookstores, but in selected POPULAR outlets and UrbanWrite as mentioned below:

- Bras Basah Complex
- Causeway Point
- Compass One

We’ve done the homework of going through the comments, and as of now (27 October 2018, 3:00 a.m.; yes, I am that hardworking, thank you very much), it seems like there are still stocks in the outlets, though some have posted photos showing that they’re pretty low on stock.
Maybe the limit of two per customer is working. But still, fast hand fast leg!
