It is that time of the year again when sale after sale pops up.
When I was in secondary school, I remember getting Converse for my school shoes and feeling like the coolest kid in town, as it was the OG sneaker shoe to wear.
And even until today, the Converse design is a classic that has passed the test of time: You never have to worry about it going out of style.
And if you’ve always wanted to get a new pair of Converse for yourself? Now’s the best time to do so.
Cuz Converse Warehouse Sale, Baby!
So how big a discount can you get at the warehouse sale?
I mean, if you stay in Jurong and you’re thinking of going, it better be worth it, right?
Well, at the sale, you can get up to 70% OFF your favourite Converse kicks.
If you want something more tangible, their footwear is going within the range of $19-$59.
Accessories will start from $5.
So if you ever want to go out decked out fully #everythingconverse, this might just be the place for you.
Just note that this is a warehouse sale, and just like any other warehouse sale, you’ll likely not find any in-season designs at the sale.
And even if you did, the discounts you get from this sale probably isn’t going to be much.
But hey, the best thing about Converse is their timeless design.
Who cares whether they’re past-season or not, they’re going to look good anyway, right?

Converse ideas
If you are older like me, and wondering how I can be cool, here are some of the latest styles in which you can dress your converse.
Disclaimer: I am naming these styles on my own
The wrap tie
Why tie your shoelaces the normal way when they can do so much more? For extra security, you can wrap the laces around your ankle to make sure that your shoes don’t fall off.
Bars
Why tie your shoelaces the typical criss-cross method when it can be lines?
Check out this website for more unique ways to tie your shoelaces!
Some of us have other concerns
Warehouse sales can be a hit or miss. Some days you spend the whole day jostling with hundreds of people and emerge from the mess with nothing in hand. Other days you emerge the victorious owner of a new pair of shoes.
The lazy people may think, ‘I do not want to head on down just to be disappointed’.
So now I am going to give you guys advice on how you can make the trip down there more interesting!
Ice cream
If you are feeling warm and need some happy food, Alfero Artisan Gelato is the perfect pit stop! With a wide range of flavours, you definitely will not be disappointed. My personal favourite is the Pistachio flavoured gelato (sponsor me pls).
BreadTalk IHQ
Did you know that BreadTalk is the parent company of a lot of brands? They are BreadTalk (the bread shop we all know of), Food Republic, Din Tai Fung, Sō and Toast Box. Here you will be spoiled for choice.
Sometimes, when I look at the Breadtalk shop, I will laugh because its glass panels remind me of this scandal that happened a few years ago.
Hawker Chan
Hawker Chan is a Michelin star eatery that serves soya sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle. While this is a franchise and not the original outlet, it is definitely worth checking out! It has aircon and can provide a good rest spot for you to break in the middle of your shopping.
