Homegrown durian retailer Kaki Kaki introduced a new durian vending machine at Tiong Bahru Market on 4 April 2025.

This latest addition marks Kaki Kaki’s fifth durian vending machine in Singapore.

Others are located at Parc Oasis in Jurong East, Casa Merah in Tanah Merah, Skypark Residences in Sembawang, and Tampines MRT station.
According to the company, the Tiong Bahru Market installation is particularly timely as the market will close for a three-month renovation period from 14 April to 13 July 2025.
Kaki Kaki co-founder C.Y. Wong described the initiative as “a fusion of heritage and modern convenience”, expressing gratitude for customer support and commitment to serving “affordable premium durians” during the market’s closure.
Special Promotion on Premium Mao Shan Wang Durians
To celebrate the launch of its newest vending machine, Kaki Kaki has announced a limited-time promotion across all its durian vending machines islandwide.
From 4 April to 13 April 2025, customers can purchase Mao Shan Wang durians at a special price of $28.88 per box, reduced from the regular price of $38 per box.
The company has previously stated that all its durians are transported “through a cold-chain process from table to table” and are “specially packed and sealed to preserve freshness”, guaranteeing quality despite the unconventional retail method.
