Usually, influencers or actresses post the best parts of their lives on social media.
But when someone shares a video of hospital visits, being in a wheelchair, and taking a subcutaneous injection, it doesn’t spark envy—it raises concern.
This is what happened to Quan Yifeng’s daughter, actress Eleanor Lee.

The video features her new song “Change” as background music and shows her learning to give subcutaneous injections to her thigh at a medical facility.
Her mother Quan Yifeng responded supportively in the comments, while Lee’s Douyin post from 20 October explained she requires monthly injections and had been absent due to health issues.
Some people in the comment section wondered if she has diabetes, as people with diabetes often require regular insulin injections.
Red Dot Entertainment, Lee’s agency, told The Straits Times that her condition stemmed from exhaustion during previous filming work and confirmed she has recovered significantly.
Lee appeared in the Chinese film To Live Through Death and disclosed her depression and anxiety diagnosis in Harper’s Bazaar Singapore’s October issue.
She also released “Change”, a song about mental health, with the aim of reducing isolation for others experiencing similar conditions.
