Everything You Need to Know About the Euro 2020 Final That’s Taking Place at 3am Tomorrow

After a thrilling battle to the end, it’s finally down to the two last teams in Euro 2020, England and Italy, both of which happen to be host countries to the tournament.

If you’re a massive football fan, this is the most explosive match of the year and you simply mustn’t miss out.

So, here are everything you’ll need to know about the Euro 2020 Final that’s taking place at 3 am tomorrow.

Which Teams are Going into the Finals?

As mentioned, the final two teams are Italy and England, from Groups A and D respectively.

Italy defeated two-time (2008 and 2012) UEFA champions, Spain, to proceed to the finals while England took down Denmark in the semis.

Time, Date, and Place, Please!

The date is tomorrow: 12  July, Monday.

The kick-off time is 3am local time or 8pm BST.

And the venue is at the historic Wembley Stadium, London, England.

How Can You Watch the Euro 2020 Final?

Unless you have already purchased a cable package from Singtel or Starhub (through a partnership with LiveNow), or even directly from LiveNow earlier, you might be out of luck.

Although technically you can still buy the package just to watch the finals, it won’t be exactly worth the cost.

Note that you’ll need to pay S$93 for Singtel, S$94 for StarHub or S$98 for LiveNow if you want to watch the finals on your TV.

All prices are inclusive of GST, by the way.

Of course, you can always head over to the nearest coffee shop and catch the match there, but with COVID-19 cases on the rise, it might not be such a good idea to do so.

So, instead of breaking the bank or putting your health at risk just for a single though the momentous match, you might want to try one of these methods.

Now, since the host country is able to broadcast the match for free in its country, you could technically use a VPN to access their channels and watch the finals for free online.

The channels that will be broadcasting the finals for free are BBC iPlayer and ITV Hub.

Naturally, you’ll need to be connecting from a UK VPN server in order to access those channels.

ESPN also has broadcasting rights so any TV package that contains ESPN in it will do just fine as well.

This includes the internet-based streaming service, Sling TV, and fuboTV.

At the moment, you can get the Orange package on Sling TV for just S$35 a month, if you were a previous subscriber.

Or if you’re a new one, you can get an even more amazing bargain – just S$10 for the whole month.

The cost of the package on fuboTV is on the higher end due to the greater number of channels you can watch if you subscribe, costing S$64.99 a month for the cheapest package.

However, unlike Sling TV, you can get a free 7-day fuboTV trial, which includes channels like… wait for it… ESPN!

So, just set up an account, crack open a cold one, sit back, and enjoy!
