For those born in the early 1990s, you remember how Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles dominated your entire childhood. Well, more so if you’re a guy. Who can dislike this bunch of ninja-heroes that are actually turtles?

We all know how slow turtles move from science class, but if you’ve caught their first movie, you’ll be amazed at their slick and quick actions (after all, they are ninjas).

A  second movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, will be released in the middle of this year. If you aren’t as excited as me, you should probably go watch the first movie.

The film is a sequel to 2014’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and will see the Heroes in a Half Shell return to take on a new threat. Follow Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Donatello fight against evil in their shells and ninja apparatus.

While the first theatrical trailer that Paramount Pictures released for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows focused on establishing a playful tone, just a few days ago, Paramount Pictures released a second full-length theatrical trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows which featured really badass villains you’ll read about later.

Interestingly, as published on the film’s official Twitter account, one batch of the movie’s posters is designed to mimic emojis. They aren’t spectacular looking posters, I must say. It’s the WhatsApp turtle emoji, on a green background the eye masks that they wear in accordance to the TMNT colours of red, blue, orange, purple. It’s really cute though, but we hope to see a more dramatic landscape in future movie posters.

Expect bigger, badder villains. After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he rallies a team to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil: the notorious Krang.

Something EXCITING is that Krang will be featured in live-action in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. For those who do not know who Krang is because you did not follow the cartoon series, Krang, a warlord from Dimension X, was created for the animated TMNT TV series and commanded a massive army.

For those who prefer the beauty of the female species instead of ninjas and turtles combined, don’t worry, for there is Megan Fox in the movie. It is most likely that Casey Jones, another vigilante, will wind up in some kind of romantic relationship with April O’Neil, played by Megan Fox.

We got to say that we are psyched about the movie. Are you?
