A couple of days ago, our friends over at Apple have happily released yet another iPhone version, although it’s not a flagship model. This newest addition to the iPhone family is called the iPhone SE and Apple fans all over the world are celebrating, and all for the right reasons.

If you’re itching for some stimulating info about this brand new release, just read on.

It’s smaller than an iPhone 6
The iPhone SE is a mere 4 inches long, reminiscent of the old iPhone 5. This means it’s thicker and bulkier than the iPhone 6, but small enough to fit snuggly into your pocket or purse. Smaller size equals more portability, people!

It has got the iPhone 6’s processors and camera
Basically this baby is a ‘cili padi’; small in appearance but fiery on the inside. Users who’ve reviewed it found that it functions smooth and fast, just like an iPhone 6.

It has got a powerful camera
12 megapixels in fact, and that’s a really high definition camera for any and every occasion, whether you’re filming an indie movie or taking selfies, the camera will definitely not let you down. The best part is, the camera is built in and doesn’t stick out from the phone’s surface.

It’s cheaper
Apple has decided that to make their latest mainstream phone more marketable, they’ll bring the price down, and will be selling it at $658 for the 16GB model and $828 for the 64GB model.

Singapore’s going to be one of the first to sell it
The iPhone SE is going to be launched on March 31st in Singapore, making it one of the first countries in the world to begin selling the phone. Singapore is one of twelve countries around the world to launch it at the end of this month. Others places include America and Japan.

It resembles an iPhone 5S
The external appearance is almost a clone of the iPhone 5S. The only difference is that it has all the internal trappings of the iPhone 6. Apple executives in Singapore have stated that the iPhone 5S will no longer be shipped here, as they hope users will upgrade to this faster and newer model.

Then there are the downsides
Some early reviewers of this phone complained that the small screen prevented them from enjoying pictures and videos, as well as handle the app buttons. Others didn’t like the bulky design and preferred something sleeker.

If you can get over these minor faults, the iPhone SE does seem like a wise choice for the Apple fan on a budget.
