We all know that the earth’s going to pieces and that everybody must do their part for the environment.
But not everyone’s doing it because, well, for one, it’s inconvenient and two, the “going to pieces” part is going to happen long after we’re old and grey.
But what if the consequences, or the reward, is something more immediate?

That’s what’s going to happen on 15 Sep 2019 at Tiong Bahru Market:
Exchange Empty Plastic Bottles For $0.50 Per Piece
That’s right, by doing your part for the environment, you can reap immediate rewards.
Pay With Plastic
It’s exactly as it says: pay for your meals with plastic bottles.
On 15 Sep 2019 from 8 am to 6 pm, make your way to Tiong Bahru Market with your empty plastic bottles.
Each bottle can be exchanged for food coupons (50 cents value) at a WWF booth at Tiong Bahru Market on that day.
The food coupons can be used for your food when you eat at the Tiong Bahru Market. In other words, if you have 10 bottles? You can get up to $5 discount for your food.
Make sure you rinse the bottles clean before making your way down, eh?

And rest assured that you’re doing the right thing because all bottles collected will be sent for recycling at the end of the day.
Terms and Conditions Apply:
Coupons are only valid on 15 Sep 2019 from 8 am to 6 pm. That means whatever you’ve exchanged that day, you’ve got to use it up.
Each person is limited to exchanging 10 plastic bottles, amounting to food coupons worth $5.
And if you bring a reusable container, you can get another $1 off food coupon.
That’s 6 bucks, people.
