For those unaware, Chinese New Year is coming soon.

In less than a month’s time, to be exact.

And businesses are now busy capitalising on the occasion to come out with cute stuff for us to buy.

Limited Edition We Bare Bears CNY Version For Sale

On 31 Dec 2018, EZ-Link announced on their Facebook page these super cute EZ-Link card designs for bear lovers.

There are two designs and they’re available at selected Cheers outlets at $10 each with no load value within.

What better way to travel than with three cute bears accompanying you on your journey, right?

Not a fan of bears? No worries.

Tokidoki CNY Design

How about Tokidoki? This CNY-themed EZ-Link card has Porcino and friends ushering in the Year of the Pig.

This super cute EZ-Link card will be available progressively at the following Golden Village outlets:

• Bishan
• Plaza Singapura
• Suntec City
• Tampines
• VivoCity

Each card will be available at $10 each with no load value.

But as with all of EZ-Link product launches, you’d better get it fast.

Because based on the shares, views and our own experience of not getting the EZ-Link cards that we want?

They’re probably going to get sold out pretty fast.

Speaking of CNY, Old Chang Kee Has A CNY Bazaar Going On Right Now

Not sure where to go during your weekends? While CNY is technically still pretty far away, Old Chang Kee’s been pretty busy jumping on the CNY bandwagon.

By opening up a CNY bazaar for people like you and me to eat, play and take #OOTD photos.

Looking for somewhere to explore this weekend?

How about paying a visit to Old Chang Kee HQ? They’re holding a Chinese New Year Street Fair from 4 Jan to 1 Feb 2019.

Expect nostalgic 1960s settings and bazaar games like Ring Toss or Fishing Game every Saturday and Sunday. Basically, games that your grandparents and parents used to play when Netflix and Chill wasn’t an option.

You can also explore the various wares on display, ranging from Old Chang Kee’s iconic snacks, sauces or eat Curry Times’ Signature Dry Laksa Goreng and Laksa.
