Li Yan recently returned to Beijing to reunite with her father and stepmother. She is currently studying abroad but was spending time with family during her visit.

Mixed Public Reaction Over Li Yan’s Vaping Habit

The photographs sparked controversy online with netizens expressing divided opinions. Critics condemned Li Yan for her “harmful habit” and questioned whether she was too young to be vaping despite being legally an adult.

Many people criticised Li Yapeng for his nonchalant attitude towards his daughter’s vaping. Observers suggested he had become accustomed to her habit, indicating she had been vaping for some time.

Others defended Li Yan’s actions. One supporter commented that “Li Yan is of age, and this is outdoors. E-cigarettes aren’t bothering anyone.” Supporters pointed out she was vaping in an open space rather than an enclosed area.

Li Yan currently lives with her father Li Yapeng in Beijing. Both Faye Wong and Li Yapeng are known to be heavy smokers.

Online commenters suggested Li Yan’s vaping habit was influenced by her parents’ smoking behaviour. The comfortable manner in which she used the device led many to believe she had been vaping for an extended period.
