Is anyone looking for an excuse to propose?

If so, this latest launch would be music to your ears, especially if you’re one who’s been waiting for a new BTO in the west.

In the last two BTO launches in August 2018 and November 2018, the locations of the new flats were mainly in the north, northeast and the east, comprising Sembawang, Sengkang, Tengah, Yishun, Tampines and Punggol.

Yes, you can argue that Tengah is in the west, but let’s face it: if you’re looking for a flat in the west, you’d be looking for one in Jurong. Not in Tengah. That place is for airplanes and tanks.

And your dream has come true because finally, there are flats in Jurong.

We’re also not talking about the Jurong that’s next to Tuas; one of them is rather near Jurong Point and most importantly, Boon Lay Nasi Lemak.

Here are the details.

3,739 Flats For Sale

Now, if you’ve no idea what BTO is, here’s a video we’ve done. You may want to watch this first before reading on if you’re one who thinks that BTO is related to BTS.

This year, HDB intends to build 15,000 BTO flats, and yesterday, it’s announced that the first wave would be open for sale.

This includes 3,162 new BTO units and 577 ROF units (those that weren’t taken eventually in the previous round).

And of the new BTO flats, it comprise five different projects (nowadays, BTO comes with fancy names):

Jurong West (Non-Mature Town):
Boon Lay Glade which near Boon Lay Drive (close to Boon Lay Shopping Centre)
Jurong West Jewel which near Jurong West St 93 (Close to Pioneer Mall)

Sengkang (Non-Mature Town)
Fernvale Vine which is near Fernvale Road (close to Compass One)

Kallang Whampoa (Mature Town)
Kallang Breeze along Lorong 3 Geylang (close to Kallang MRT Station)
Towner Crest at Towner Road (close to Bendemeer MRT Station)

Here’s a list of the prices for you young couples out there:
