When you want food delivered to your house, it’s because you’re either too lazy to go out and get it yourself, or because you need food immediately.
This is why some customers tend to get frustrated with riders who take a little longer than usual.
But what we don’t appreciate is that these riders are at the mercy of the establishments that are making your food.
So, when they’re late, saying something like “Why so long? Are you making the food yourself or something?” wouldn’t be very nice.
But in this case, it would also be accurate.
foodpanda Rider Waited Too Long for The Prata Order & So He Cooked It Himself
A video of a foodpanda rider in Malaysia preparing his own order because he was tired of waiting has gone viral on social medial.
Since it was shared on TikTok a week ago, it has been shared over 2,400 times, and garnered more than 53,000 likes.
According to the netizen who shared the amusing clip, the foodpanda rider had apparently grown tired of waiting for an order of roti prata – or roti canai as they call it in Malaysia – at a restaurant.
So, instead of hurrying the prata uncle or auntie, the delivery rider decided to make it himself.
In the video, he can be seen kneading the roti prata, which is often done just before it’s cooked.
It’s unknown how crispy the roti prata ended up being, or whether the customer was satisfied with the order, but the rider looked like he knew what he was doing.

Penang foodpanda Rider Helped Stall Owner Make Prata Because There Were too Many Orders
If that story amused you, then this one will warm your heart.
A similar incident occurred last month in Penang when a foodpanda rider made roti prata at a stall while waiting for an order.
Only this time, he wasn’t just making it for himself.
It seems that the owner of the stall was struggling to cope with many orders as he was new to foodpanda’s services.
One rider, Khairul Hamizan Mustafa, noticed that there were already four other riders waiting for orders when he arrived to collect his.
So, instead of hurrying or berating the busy owner, Khairul helped him make some roti prata for the other riders while waiting for his own order to be prepared.
Khairul certainly wasn’t lacking in experience, as he had been making roti prata since he was 12 with his family who were running a roti prata business.
Netizens were certainly touched by Khairul’s kind act, and the video went viral with over 1 million views.
