Unlike Ghostbusters who aren’t “afraid of no ghost”, many of us common folk would prefer if the entities in the spirit world just leave us alone.
Life’s hard enough without having to content with the spirits of the dead, don’t you agree?
Well, whether you believe in ghosts or not, a Taiwanese social media user had the shock of his life when he spotted what seems to be a long-haired, pale-faced “woman”, standing by the front door inside his friends’ house via the CCTV installed on the porch.
In fact, the footage nearly gave his friend’s mother the scare of her life.

Recorded at 8.27pm on Tuesday, the footage depicts a ghostly “long-haired lady” just standing at the front door, looking out with what seems to be an angry face.
The “ghost” doesn’t move throughout the video.
Sharing the CCTV footage on social media, the “angry ghost” has gone pretty much viral, garnering attention and various speculations from ghost-believers as well as ghost-sceptics alike.
Angry Ghost… Or Not?
To many ghost hunters’ dismay, the social media user who uploaded the footage revealed that he did some digging of his own and found out that this is no “angry ghost”.
He realised the “ghost lady” is merely the reflection of the tyre of the SUV parked in the porch.
Guess he doesn’t need to call the Ghostbusters or an exorcist after all!
All is Not for Naught Though
The CCTV footage did spark a whole debate about the supernatural involving more than 2000 social media users, many of whom say that they would have believed the ghost to be real since the video itself and the still captured from the footage look incredibly legit at first glance.
“It’s really like a supernatural photo is you don’t look carefully”, they said.
Some are just relieved that the whole “angry ghost” thing turned out to be just a reflection, stating that “Thank God, you explain it first; otherwise a bunch of people will be spooked.”
Of course, there are also some netizens in the comments who thought the photo isn’t scary enough, adding filters to the still so that it’d look even more terrifying.
However, it’s now 2021; what’s scarier is someone maskless in public instead, no?
