Coffee shop fights in Singapore isn’t unknown. Uncommon, yes, but it still happens.
But to see a CCTV footage of not one, not three but four women attacking a group of three: one woman and two men?
Not unbelievable.
Okay, I’ll give you that.
But what if I tell you that video was uploaded, viewed over 170,000 times and is apparently sponsored?
Okay, let’s go through it one by one.
And like Nicholas Cage always said, it’s best to start from the beginning.
What Happened?
On 12 June, two men and a woman in black were having their meal peacefully at a Bak Kut Teh shop in Balestier when a woman in yellow suddenly walked up to their table.
Ohh, wait, that’s their friend! You’d think. Now it’s more even.
Except, she slammed the table and threw an object at the lady in black.
She did it so hard, in fact, that her top almost came loose.
The two men immediately stood up to confront the woman.
Then, Backup Arrived
Unfortunately for the trio, the backup wasn’t theirs.
It was the sundress woman’s backup.
A lady in white threw a chair at them and was subsequently shoved aside by one of the men.
But the woman in yellow managed to break through and punched the lady in black before getting rebuffed by the gentlemen.

Talks Failed
The two men attempted to talk to the women but ultimately failed.
The group of women proceeded to flip tables, throw chairs and screamed at everybody, including the poor shop workers.
The police were eventually called in and arrested four women, aged between 30 and 34.

Okay, Remember What I Said At The Beginning?
I mentioned that this post became “sponsored”.

Now, I don’t mean that everything’s an act. But, I mean more like this:
As I’m reading the caption, Nicholas Cage’s voice unexpectedly resonated in my head:
Never fear a fight again in your premises with Surveillance Zone CCTV protecting you. We will record everything for you so you can claim insurance, and even do free marketing for you on Facebook.
With us, no fight at your premises is going to be private ever again. *Cage blinding smile with a sassy wink*
Yeah, well, you know what I think about that liao.
