In case you missed the memo, Singapore is considered the most beautiful city in Asia.
And for good reason.
After all, with an art exhibition like this one, how can we not be?
IG-Worthy Art Displays
The art display consists of two parts: the indoor exhibitions and outdoor displays.
The outdoor displays will be available at Gardens by the Bay from 15 Dec 2019 and are absolutely free for your viewing pleasure.
Like the Autonomous Resonating Life on the Water and Resonating Trees on Dragonfly Lake.
These beautiful ovoids will shine brightly and fade slowly, as though they’re living, breathing beings.
And when you give one of them a push, the colour of the light changes and will spread out to nearby ovoids and trees.
This, TeamLab says, will allow people to become more aware of the existence of other living things within the same space.
And the highlight of the outdoor displays, the Message Pillar.
At first glance, the Message Pillar isn’t really impressive.
But with the help of your smartphone, the beauty of the ‘tree’ will be revealed to your naked eyes.
You’re able to set and send messages to the pillar as well, creating a tree of golden light with messages from thousands of others.
Here, you can watch the video of how it works below:
Outdoor displays operate from 7pm to 12mn daily.
Indoor Artworks
Impressed with the outdoor displays? The indoor ones aren’t anything to sneeze at as well.
Contemplate the cycle of life and death as you look at flowers blooming and dying at En Tea House.
Or look into your cup of green tea and watch a flower bloom.
The indoor art displays will only be available from 16 Jan 2019 to 31 Mar 2020.
Opening hours will be from 9am to 9pm (last entry, 8.30pm)
But that’s not the best part.
It’s Totally Free

Indoor Art Display: S$10 (Standard), Free for Singapore Residents (Singaporean, Permanent Residents and Employment Pass, Work Permit, Dependent Pass holders).
