You Can Still Access NDP Funpack Promotions E-Booklet Online Even if You Didn’t Collect the FunPack

Lest you’re unaware, the NDP Funpack is scheduled for release from today (20 July), all the way to 2 Aug 2020 (for community centres) or 26 Jul 2020 (for residents’ corners).

Packed with an entire plethora of goodies including 4 face masks, 2 mini bottles of hand sanitisers, a thermometer and glorious access to an electronic booklet of discounts, one can be sure of one thing:

The NDP Funpack for 2020 is certainly one that you should not miss out on.

But here’s the thing. As the ongoing epidemic rages on with no end in sight, circumstances might arise: circumstances, that for the most part, restrict and prohibit you from collecting your own funpack.

Dire circumstances, so to speak.

It could be something as simple as a chronic fear of contracting the virus. Or it could be something like being part of the unfortunate 20% who will not be able to claim their funpacks. Whichever it is, one thing’s clear:

You can’t get your funpack, and hence have to forgo the mouthwatering discounts that come with it.

In the form of an honest to goodness online e-booklet.

Just recently, website life.gov.sg dedicated an entire page to NDP e-discounts…

Which means that you can now peruse the extensive list of promotions, without needing to collect the funpack!

Now, lest you’re unaware, the funpack grants you access to an electronic booklet of discounts which is contributed to by local businesses.

And having gone to the liberty of doing a headcount (because I’m bored), I counted 198 deals in total.

198. That’s enough deals to cover more than half a year.

Singapore turns 55 so generous ah?

Also, the promotions aren’t too shabby either. For instance, here are some of the more noteworthy promotions to grace the e-booklet:

Attraction rides at a discounted price? Hell yeah!

One can never go wrong with food… and RedMart serves as the cherry on top.

Similarly, you can never go wrong with shopping vouchers. 

Face masks might have become part and parcel of our daily routines, but beauty treatment’s still a boon for the times you’ve to go without your mask.

Now, for those of you who are still gunning for the funpacks because it’s not just about the discounts, here’s what you need to know about what else you can get (if you’re part of the 80%, that is):

According to ndp.gov.sg, the funpack will contain several items:

• Handheld flag
• Face tattoo
• Red Filter for phone torch
• A snack and a canned drink
• A state flag
• An iron-on flag
• “Our Heart For Singapore” Card
• A Singapore Together commemorative magnet
• Face Mask
• A thermometer
• and a bottle of hand sanitizer

I’ll be honest, the last 3 items will make everybody want a funpack for themselves.

Facebook user, Eugene NT Tan, took to the social media platform to share a photo of the funpack’s contents, laid out in Tekong-style:

The photo is yet to be verified but it seems awfully similar to what the NDP organisers are showing on their website.

If the image is accurate, this means that every household is going to get an additional 4 face masks, 2 mini bottles of hand sanitisers and a thermometer.

However, for those who came across photos of these reusable masks:

It was confirmed that they are not part of the NDP 2020 funpack.

Collection Starts From 20 Jul 2020

Eager to get your hands on a funpack of your own?

Collection of the funpacks starts on 20 Jul 2020 and will run all the way to 2 Aug 2020 (for community centres) or 26 Jul 2020 (for residents’ corners).

You can check where to collect the funpacks by inputting your postal code in this website.

Collection hours are from 10am to 6pm daily, excluding public holidays.

Each household is entitled to one funpack and you have to show your NRIC to redeem.

According to the NDP website, everyone will get it as long as they’re a Singaporean or PR household here.

However, the organisers have decided that they will only produce enough to give 80% of the households in Singapore after petitions were signed.

Enjoy Local Artwork

To make the entire occasion even more meaningful, the pack will also contain artwork from local Singaporeans with disabilities

As well as primary five students.

In total, there will be 20 artworks and designs in the pack which you can admire while in your own home.
