The overseas votes for the 2025 General Election (GE2025) were counted on 15 May 2025, almost two weeks after Polling Day.
While the final results of who won in each constituency remained unchanged, the vote percentages across several constituencies saw minor adjustments.

According to the Elections Department (ELD), 44 valid overseas votes were cast for the constituency, with 23 going to Dr Chee and 21 to Ms Poh.
This increases Dr Chee’s total votes to 10,564, still 1,435 lower than Ms Poh’s 11,999. His vote share rose marginally by 0.01% to 46.82%, compared to Ms Poh’s 53.18%.
Despite this small gain, one of Singapore’s most well-known opposition politicians, who has never been in Parliament, still lost his parliamentary bid.
Bukit Panjang SMC saw an unusual outcome with PAP’s Liang Eng Hwa and SDP’s Paul Tambyah receiving exactly the same number of overseas votes—36 each.
Nevertheless, Mr Liang still won with 61.38% of the total vote share, a slight drop from the previously announced 61.41%.
The overseas voting results were close in several other SMCs. In Jalan Kayu SMC, NTUC chief Ng Chee Meng obtained 33 overseas votes, just 3 more than Workers’ Party’s (WP) Andre Low.
This kept Mr Ng’s vote share steady at 51.47%.
In Tampines Changkat SMC, PAP’s Desmond Choo received 35 overseas votes—only one more than WP’s Kenneth Foo, causing Mr Choo’s vote share to dip by 0.01% to 56.16%.
