Security Measures and Transport Advisory for Rally Attendees
With large crowds expected at these rallies, police have issued several advisories for public safety.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to use public transport to reach the rally sites, as traffic diversions, lane closures, and slower traffic conditions are anticipated in surrounding areas.

These traffic changes may also affect pickup and drop-off points for ride-hailing services.
Carparks near the rally venues will be restricted to season parking holders only, and authorities warn that illegally parked vehicles or those causing obstructions may be towed away.
Police have also released a comprehensive list of prohibited items at all rally sites.
These include weapons like firearms, knives, and batons; explosive materials; corrosive substances; glass bottles; and toy guns that resemble actual firearms.
The campaign period, which began on 23 April, will conclude with these rallies on 1 May. This will be followed by Cooling-off Day on 2 May, when all forms of campaigning, both in-person and online, must cease.

This mandatory cooling-off period gives voters time to reflect on the election issues without further campaigning influence.
Singapore will go to the polls on 3 May 2025.
