Moving on after a loved one has passed on can be hard, but this girl continues to post photos of her loved one as a means to cope.
More Than A Year
In 2017, Janica Nam Floresca, a Filipina Chinese model, lost her boyfriend during a drowning accident. Her boyfriend, Franco Hernandez, was a member of a male dance-group called ‘Hashtags’.
The couple were in North Lamidan, Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental, Philippines. According to Floresca, they were on a boat and were forced to jump after a strong wave hit them while they were on the way back.

By the time they had taken him to a clinic, Hernandez was already unconscious. Upon arrival at the hospital, he was declared dead.
The incident took place in November of that year.
Love Goes On
The beauty of loving someone is that no matter what happens, your love for them will never die. That’s how pure loving someone can be.
Although it has been more than a year and a half since the incident, Floresca continues to post photos of her boyfriend.
And her captions are tear-jerkers, look away now if you cry easily.
In each post she makes about him, she recounts a memory she made with him in the past. She also never forgets to mention how much she loves him.
My heart.

Even if you’re not here to stay, I’m happy and thankful that God allowed you to be with me even for a short period of time.
Not Sympathy
She regularly posts about her boyfriend. While many of her fans are still supportive of her and support her in what she’s doing, some others shake their head at how often she posts about her boyfriend.
In a world where celebrities practically live their life on social media, many people often doubt the intentions of celebrities when they post on social media.
To fight back against haters who may accuse her of wanting attention and sympathy, she posted a photo of her boyfriend and herself, with the caption: “When I post about my loved one, it is not to get sympathy, it is to keep their memory alive. Happy 18th in heaven my love! Missing you always! 🌹”

Truly admirable.
Monthsaries
Not only does she celebrate his birthdays, but she also celebrates their monthsaries. Monthsaries are month milestones while a couple is dating.
She either hashtags the number of months they’ve been together or mentioned it in the caption.

I think we can all agree that Floresca’s love for her boyfriend is so pure, it makes our hearts melt. It is indeed hard for people to cope with the loss of their loved ones, but she still continues to live life with a smile and remembers him in her heart.
Life is too short, so be sure to tell your loved ones that you love them before it’s too late. Anything can happen, but we should make the most out of it.
And we should always be grateful for the people around us.
