Parents must find it incredibly weird when their kid transitions into a teenager.
Your once sweet and innocent child turns into a hormonally charged, sex-crazed maniac whose only goal in life is to pleasure themselves until they pass out.
You wonder why they now spend a concerningly long time in the bathroom, and why they’re always in their room with the door locked.
You hope that it’s because they started taking personal hygiene seriously and that they enjoy doing homework, but you know the truth.
But when you stumble upon this truth, especially when it manifests in the form of a sex toy, it can be disconcerting, to say the least.
Grandma Gets Quite a Shock
On one April morning in Hubei, China, the grandma of a 13-year-old boy decided to clean out her grandson’s closet. She then came across a large black box that her grandson had specifically told the family not the open.
Why? The boy said the box was filled with chemicals that cannot be exposed to light, so no one should touch it or open it, reported China Press.
Great cover, dude, that doesn’t sound suspicious at all.
Unfortunately, for the 13-year-old, his grandma’s curiosity got the better of her and she opened the box to find this staring back at her.
Yes, this poor grandma who probably thought the boy was secretly stashing some case or something, found a 1.3m inflatable sex doll in the box.
She has probably seen many things in her time on Earth, but nothing quite like this.
Boy’s Reaction
On the list of embarrassing things to happen to a teenager, this has to be at least number 2. (Number 1 is getting caught spanking the monkey by your parents).
So, he started acting out.
The boy’s father said that his son, who had hitherto been a very good and obedient boy who would get excellent results, started being more rebellious and stopped listening to his wife and him.
“I want to talk to my son about this and make him realise his mistakes but I do not know how,” the father said.
Boy regretted his purchase
The boy later said that he knew about these inflatable toys since 2016, which is a little concerning considering he was just 10 years old at the time.
Even though he was curious, he was just 10 and didn’t have the money to buy the doll.
But then, in 2018, he had a particularly prosperous Chinese New Year, where he received around 7,000 RMB (S$1,360). So, he decided to purchase the doll, which cost 1,000 RMB (S$195).
However, when his doll arrived, it was much larger and heavier than he had anticipated and he immediately regretted his purchase. So, he kept it in the closet hoping that nobody would find it.
Sure, man, you just kept it in the closet the whole time. *wink wink*
Family’s Response
The family has said that they really do not know what to do and how to tackle this issue. That’s understandable because it’s a pretty sticky situation.
Experts believe it’s natural for children and adolescents to be curious about sex, and that it’s good to have “the talk” with them early on.
I certainly agree with this. Parents should talk to their children about sex so that they’re better equipped to handle their hormones when they start throwing a rave party.
And as long as the boy understands that real women are not objects like this doll, is there really anything wrong with this?
Grandma: OF COURSE THERE IS
