Proposal is tricky: girls often say that they wanted a surprise, but on the other hand, they wanted to be pre-empted (source of research: all the poor boyfriends and husbands in the Goody Feed office).
Getting it right is like buying the correct food for a girlfriend / wife: it’s never right. It’s just how wrong it can be.
Seems like this guy learned it the hard way.
There’s not a lot of context or background about this video except that it has gone viral. No one knows if it’s scripted, no one knows if the guy is proposing and no one knows when it happens.
Here, take a look.
Basically, a guy tried to propose, the girlfriend seemed reluctant (having to be pushed towards the guy by her friends) and while in a shocked state, she turned and dashed away, hitting a little girl during her “escape”.
The girl merely stood up…and let’s just say that the mother didn’t dare to scold the girlfriend or the boyfriend.
But all we know is that it’s not exactly a cheap setup: this guy is using a gimbal, some stabilizer that allows him to move around while removing the shakiness.
In fact, that gimbal itself could cost more than the camera.
Lesson to learn? When you’re going to propose in public, be prepared for a surprise: either the girl would be surprised or you’ll be surprised.
Remember to check back tomorrow on the next video of the day!
