SPF recently released a special rendition of Selamat Hari Raya medley and it won the Internet within days: in less than four days, it has garnered well over 222K and 4.1K Shares.
Here, take a listen:
Lest you’re not aware, SPF has been upping their social media game recently: from memes that achieved its propose of crime prevention…
…to heartwarming stories of their officers.
Even their replies are epic wins.
Well, and not to mention a very successful Trump-Kim Summit that put us into the world map (and make more people know that Singapore is not part of China).
We know about this, of course. We’ve done videos in collaboration with them and let’s just say that it has been not just an honour, but a pleasure, to work with them, like this video:
(Since you’re here, subscribe to our YouTube Channel for more informative videos lah)
We even made friends with the officers in charge, including the handsome officer who narrated in our videos.
But then again, when we talk about handsome officers, we can’t miss him out.
He’s so popular, there’s even a person who’s willing to buy the standee for $200 (?!?wut!?!):
Fondly known as Singapore’s “most handsome” and “most popular” police officer, Mr Ryan Koh rose to fame from cardboard standees located practically everywhere, reminding us that “Shop Theft is a Crime”.
Of course, he himself is guilty of stealing many young girls’ hearts, and breaking them when it was reported that he got married.
The sporting officer even had the standee in a few of his wedding photos, with one of it his wife hugging the standee instead of him (owww, sweetness overload?).
And that’s not all: he even starred in a video as himself in 2015. That video garnered over 919K views – that’s almost one million views.
Well, the story didn’t end there.
He’s back
Three years later, ASP Ryan Koh is no longer ASP Ryan Koh: he’s been promoted to DSP Ryan Koh (we can’t confirm that but in the latest video, he has the rank of DSP and in previous reports, he was an ASP).
And his priority is not to stop you from stealing (though I’m 101% sure he’ll still stop you if you try to steal), but to repeat Li Nanxing’s anti-scam message: Don’t Panic, Don’t Believe and Don’t Give.
(See his appearance from 1:12 onwards)
In case you find what he says familiar, it’s because it almost exactly what Li Nanxing has said:
So, whose version do you prefer? DSP Ryan Koh or ASP Wei Lantian (Li Nanxing’s role in C.L.I.F.)?
For us, of course it’s Fadzil, the guy who starred in our videos lah. You all have got no idea how many NGs he made before doing a perfect take, and how he rejected his own take just to deliver the best message.
And oh, he also promoted hor, from Inspector to ASP #powerlahFadzil #youalsohandsome
Now you know what Singaporeans are talking about today; do check back tomorrow for another piece of news of the day!
