Can you hear that?
No, not the sound of rain and thunder but the sound of my heart breaking.
How can someone abandon their own mother?
I can’t comprehend the idea of living without my mother. That woman sacrificed hours of sleep for me and my brother and I’m eternally grateful for that. Which is why it breaks my heart to write this article.
Just look at the poor auntie 🙁
Before The Picture Was Taken…
Her daughter had told her she was going to the carwash before dropping her off at a grocery store in Taman Sungai Kob.
And like that forgotten kid waiting for his parents to pick him up after school, her daughter never came back.
All she had with her was the bag of clothes that her daughter had told her to take before she got down from the car at the grocery store.
Daughter Never Came
Passers-by were concerned for her after she had waited hours for her daughter at the grocery store. They found out that she stayed at Pantai Prai, which was about 29km away from the grocery store.
Her daughter stays in Penang.
When they found out that her daughter’s car was not at the carwash opposite the street, they got worried and decided to take her to the Sungai Kob Police Station where the police successfully contacted her daughter.
Now, this is where they could be a plot twist. Maybe it was all a huge misunderstanding? Maybe her daughter car had broken down halfway or maybe she had an important last minute meeting to rush to.
Alas, life for this mak cik here is no fairytale.
Daughter Ditched Mother
Yes, after years of bringing up her beloved daughter, she decided nonchalantly that “I don’t want to take care of her anymore”.
The police could do nothing but to forward the case to the welfare department.
This picture of the auntie here pains me… it’s as if she was looking out for her daughter’s car.
We don’t know much about what happened after. But World Of Buzz has reported that the same user who posted about the incident on Facebook said that the lady was able to go back to her house and reunite with her family.
I wish the mother and daughter all the best!
