Guess what? The Wonder Woman trailer’s out!

So first she’s up on a beach looking down on Chris Pine. What you don’t know behind that scene is that he’s an American pilot who crashed into the island of Themyscira, where she lives.

Mr Steve Trevor here warns her about a world war that’s going on. She leaves her homeland to stop the war as Wonder Woman.

Amazing Facts About the Wonder Woman

She’s a princess of the Amazon and as she says it herself, not born but brought to life by Zeus. In this movie, we’re brought back by a century to a time when she’s young and naïve.

You get to see Wonder Woman’s mom and auntie in this movie. No joke. Look out for Queen Hippolyta and General Antiope.

What Gadot

Yes, even women need to add on muscle and learn martial arts for their roles. Gadot put on 17 pounds of muscle for the WW role and practiced kung fu, sword fighting, jujitsu and even kickboxing to build her stamina.

Gadot’s also the first non-American to ever play the WW role – she’s Israeli.

What It’s Like

You’re not getting the usual curvy actress for the Wonder Woman here. Expect to see Gadot fight with swiftness, grace and yes, stealth.

She’s taken Wonder Woman to a new elevation altogether. And I can’t wait to watch the movie when it hits the cinema.

Expect a long wait though as it’s going to be released sometime next year.

In the meanwhile, put the trailer on loop. You know you want to. And don’t forget to check out the secretary joke that’s right at the end.
