Not only that, it has also inspire and push the boundaries for physical games that many variety shows have tried to emulate but failed.
However, little did we know that the history of Running man is just like the permanent cast -equally awe inspiring.
Running Man was first aired on July 11, 2010 and has since went viral all over the world. Its concepts are unrivalled and unprecedented which made it highly popular round the globe.
Currently, the variety show is being fansubbed into many different languages, from English to Portugese, Russian and Turkish. Running Man was also filmed overseas multiple times, such as in Vietnam and in Australia and all of which had gained a mass following during their filming schedule.
The fact that Running man was able to amass such great following was due to the creative team that slogs behind the scene relentlessly.
The highly popular Yoo-ames Bond concept first made its debut in Episode 38 whereby Yoo Jae Suk had to use a watergun to spray on his enemies’ name tag to eliminate them. The concept was well-liked by many audiences that it made a comeback in episode 91, 140 and 231.
Running Man also had special series in conjunction with the special events that are taking place around the world. For example, Running Man members, Gary and Kim Jong Kook were selected to participate in Asian Dream Cup after completing missions with Park Ji Sung.
And how can we forget about our favourite Monday couple who is always bickering in the show. Even though almost everyone knows that Gary and Ji Hyo are just flirting and having fun, no one can say for sure what will really happen in the future. Given the fact that Gary is always excited to partner with Ji Hyo and gets jealous occasionally,it seems like it that love between them may blossom in the near future.
