After the historic recall of about 2.5 million units of Galaxy Note7, another massive recall is taking place, this time in the F&B industry.
For the fellow milk lovers among us, you got to know this, especially the hardcore HL milk fans out there in Singapore.
Marigold HL Chocolate Milk Thicker than Usual
After getting complaints from consumers, Malaysia Milk immediately issued a recall of all HL Milk products in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.

Customers complained that the thickness of the HL Chocolate milk was higher than usual.
The company stated that the recall was “voluntary and precautionary”.
Source of issue found but not commented on
While complaints centred around Marigold HL Chocolate Milk, they have decided to recall other products as well including the Marigold HL Plain Milk (200ml and 1 litre), Strawberry Milk (both 200ml and 1 litre) and HL Milk with Plant Sterols (1 litre).
All Marigold HL milk products expiring before 7 Nov 2016 for Peninsular Malaysia and 11 Nov 2016 for the other markets are affected.
It was also stated that while the company have found the source of the problem, they had not elaborated further.

Singapore HL Milk not Affected
Local manufacturer of Marigold HL Milk has stated that local products in Singapore are not affected by the issue.
