If you’ve thought that the indoor CounterStrike facility is the best that the HomeTeamNS clubhouse at Khatib has to offer, think again.
Because they’re not contented with being the first to launch an urban warfare arena.
They’re now also the first to offer an indoor adventure centre.
Climb, shimmy and fly across obstacles high up in the air…in the comfort of an air-conditioned room.
HomeTeamNS Khatib Has a ‘Ninja Warrior’ Course & S’pore’s First Indoor Adventure Centre
Called the Adventure HQ, HomeTeamNS Khatib has pretty impressive claims:
- Singapore’s FIRST Indoor Roll Glider
- Singapore’s LONGEST 14m Indoor Slide
- Singapore’s FIRST 165m long Indoor Artificial Caving
- Singapore’s BIGGEST Two-Tiered, 16 Elements Indoor Challenge Ropes Course
And trust me, after reading through their website, you’ll quickly realise that they can back up their words.
On their website, they’ve listed 10 different activities you can do within the 2,800 square metres facility.
This includes climbing activities, whether you do it without safety equipment like bouldering:
For those new to the sport, here’s a sneak peek at how professional bouldering competitors (boulderers?) do their sport:
**Crash mats are placed at the bottom of the wall to keep people safe when they fall.
Its cousin, rock climbing:
As well as Urban Climb, if you’ve always wanted to scale buildings and other interesting backdrops.
Ninja Course
While SuperPark at Suntec has closed permanently due to financial troubles, it doesn’t mean Singapore has no more permanent indoor Ninja Warrior Course for people to test their mettle against.
If you’ve always been an avid fan of Ninja Warrior, you’ll find these launchpads familiar:
As well as the rest of the course.
Don’t be in a rush to make your way there yet because this, and the following activities we’re going to speak about after, are “coming soon”.
Cave Diving (Fossil Labyrinth)
Mazes are overrated.
Unless they’re designed to look like natural caves with stalactites, stalagmites, sumps, fossils and other speleo features that deliver a realistic exploration, that is.
It’s like the 2018 cave exploration, except there’s no chance of anything going wrong here.
Adventure From Sky Up
The facility is 2,800 sqm, but the floor area isn’t the only thing impressive about the facility.
It’s the height, which is said to be about 4-storey high.
And HomeTeamNS Khatib is making full use of that space.
Called the Sky Venture, you can expect slides that come from the top of the building, making it one of the longest slide in Singapore.
A sky trail that lets you absorb the sky above without the need for a restrictive harness)
And even more adrenaline-driving activities like “flying-fox” your way down from the top of the world.
By the way, did we mention that the Roller Glider is Singapore’s first indoor aerial attraction here?
Of course, as we said, other than the climbing activities, the rest, including the roll glider, ninja course and Sky Venture are all coming soon according to HomeTeamNS Khatib’s website, so make sure to check there for the latest update.
